- it has the best service area in the State favouring the N, NW and S; it is partly blocked by terrain towards the east.

- not frequently used, it is generally accessible from the midlands and parts of the North and South of the island.

- not much used, it is generally accessible from the Esk highway and parts of the North and South of the island.
- Tower Hill is handy because its permanently linked to Mt Arthur (438.550 MHz).

- a mains powered repeater set up primarily as a link between VK7RWC and VK7RAA.

- not frequently used, it is generally accessible only from the NW and parts of the W coast.

VK7RAA Mt Barrow = VK7RAC Table Cape (438.650 MHz) on the NW coast are linked by default.
VK7RAA Mt Barrow = VK7RWC Mt Read (147.075) near Rosebery are permanetly linked via VK7RAL Companion Hill (146.400 and 439.900) in the NW.
